Hello,
The Kitten-oriented beginnings!
Devotion has been around since day -2 (That's 2 days before release - Early access!) of RaiderZ!
Since then people have come in and gone out, some have left due to life issues, some fell behind and some simply didn't enjoy their time within the guild (Happens!).
Originally Devotion was planned to be sort of a fun guild (My initial recruitment messages contained stuff like 'Join if you enjoy cake and love kittens!'); but, as life would have it - I managed to create something I'm proud of to this day - One of the best guilds on Diago and possibly on any game anywhere.
Initially (at the beginning) the guild wasn't intended to be hardcore or anything endgame focused, I simply recruited people to have people to talk to and party up with. (Fact: First member to join the guild was Kytreu who still has his place within Devotion to this day!)
However as time passed; certain members began shooting ahead in levels, ahead of everyone else bringing us out there, where nobody else had gone before, so one day, I gathered up our force and shot for the server-first Yillis kill! From that day forward I think most guild members knew exactly what we strive for - To be the first, the friendliest and most vanity oriented people in Rendel.
Devotion Today
Today 'Devotion is a force to be reckoned with.' as someone told me in a whisper, but don't let this fool you, we are normal (albeit slightly sleep deprived) people who like and dislike things just like you, we simply play this game a little more actively and more skill/self improvement focused.
Is Devotion right for me?
We recruit anyone (lately we have too many sorcs, so we may be cutting down on those) who wishes to achieve something within the game. Usually people that use Teamspeak 3 get further and enjoy the guild far more than those who don't.
You guys seem like PRO's, I feel like I'll be a noob between you all...
Don't worry about that at all! There's no such thing as 'Too pro for you', we are (mostly) nice people who accept anyone and will get you involved as best as we can! We don't make fun of anyone, as we know where we started ourselves.
As I am writing this, I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to two guild members: Syco and Waifu, as without you two, I think the guild would've been gone a long time ago.
